July's Z-Feast to Welcome New Members and Meet Old Friends
Tuesday, July 15th; 6:30 pm
Bella Brava
515 Central Ave, St Petersburg,
(727) 895-5515
http://www.bellabrava.net/ShowPage.asp?page=TOUR.asp
For years, Bella Brava owners Dyce Craig and Michael Venturo have enjoyed traveling the hills of Tuscany with their families, and dining on outstanding traditional Tuscan fare - flavorful cheeses, authentic pastas, fresh herbs, meats and seafood, and pizzas with thin, cracker-like crusts. At Bella Brava New World Trattoria, Craig and Venturo have given this same traditional cuisine new life in their hometown of St. Petersburg.
Stylish, yet inviting, the atmosphere at Bella Brava blends warm, comfortable colors with a modern and lively attitude. St. Petersburg's incredible weather makes the second floor balcony a fun and scenic outdoor dining option.
July's Z-Feast will be on Tuesday, July 15th. We will meet at Bella Brava’s upstairs bar for vino and conversazione starting at 6:30pm followed by dinner at 7pm.
Zodiac Group members will receive 50% off their entrée for this evening. And be sure to return to Bella Brava throughout the month of July for a special “Surreal Deal” where Zodiac members receive a "Buy one get one free for the other entree with the least expensive entree being free". Members will need to present their membership cards for the “Surreal Deal”.
Enjoy half-price on every bottle of wine purchased with an entree on every Wednesday of 2008 (excluding Holidays). Come in and enjoy your favorite wine at half-price with delicious urban Italian cuisine.
Please RSVP to Harry Venezia at HarryVen@Tampabay.rr.com. |

Pia's Trattoria
3054 Beach Blvd. South
Gulfport

Si, there is a Pia !! She has created a lovely Mediterranean (or Adriatic) atmosphere with her rustic Italian restaurant near the beach in Gulfport. The menu offers a variety of pastas and salads while special entrees feature the talents of the chef with something different to choose from everyday.
The "Concise Cambridge Italian Dictionary" defines the verb "trattare" in English as "to treat, to handle, to work, to play, to deal with, to deal in, to discuss, to provide food," and hence, the word, trattoria. Pia's casual decor is inviting and comfortable with indoor and outdoor garden seating that compliments Gulfport's identity as an art community.
Zodiac Group members receive either a complimentary glass of wine or appetizer, as well as the opportunity to return to Pia's Trattoria during the month of June to enjoy one entree at half price with the purchase of one at full price.

| The Zodiac Group |
|
The original Zodiac Group was created in France in 1932 and consisted of 12 collectors who each sponsored Salvador Dali for one month of each year. In exchange, each patron received a work that Dali produced during that same month. To honor them for their devotion to the arts Salvador Dali held an annual feast and private auction in his studio for the group.
The Zodiac Group was reformed at the Salvador Dali Museum in 1996.
In the spirit of the original founders, the group host several social events each year that combine art and entertainment such as the annual Martini Party, the Z Grapes Wine Tasting and ever popular Musical Chairs Dinner where guest are invited to participate in surreal parlor games. Additionally, you can find the steering committee and other fellow Zodiacs at one of the selected Bay area restaurants where members receive Special Discounts on Entrées every month for a Z-Feast.
The Zodiac Group is governed by an annually elected, all volunteer steering committee with the guidance of a museum liaison, Molly McGee.
The current 2008 Zodiac Steering Committee is:
Rep DeLoach-President, Lisa Kaschak-Vice President, Kelly Smith-Secretary, Debbie Haran-Treasurer, Mandy Bagley, Nancy Dinucci, Alison Hardage, Tracy Jones, Sean Pilon, Kisha Robinson, John Sullvan, Angelia Tellone, and Harry Venezia.
Proceeds from these events support the museum’s educational mission and community outreach.
