Dalí on Tour Traveling Exhibition
Perfect for temporary display in libraries, conference rooms, and waiting and common rooms, "Dalí on Tour" is a poster exhibition of 31 reproductions of works from the museum’s permanent collection.

Each image is beautifully framed under glass with labeling incorporated into the matting and is accompanied by a museum-style wall placard giving informative and intriguing notes about that particular work.

A Self-Guided Tour Booklet accompanies the exhibit and leads visitors through the fascinating panorama of Dalí’s life and work. "Dalí on Tour" is free on loan with your paid shipping and handling.

"DalíVision" Outreach Program
If your group or organization can’t visit the museum, then please consider inviting the museum to visit you. With a little advance notice-and with no cost to you-the museum can schedule a trained docent to visit with slides or posters to best suit your needs.

Museum docents regularly visit senior groups, churches, convalescent homes, social and service clubs in Pinellas, Pasco, Hillsborough, Manatee and Sarasota counties. Depending on availability, our docents can also make special theme-oriented presentations (e.g., Dalí and religion, Dalí and women, Dalí and science, etc.).

For more information on supporting or taking part in this program, or to book a docent for your group, please contact the Education Department at 727.823.3767.
Sponsorships

Each year, the Museum sponsors the Best of Show award for the University of South Florida’s student show at the Contemporary Art Museum. The Best-of-Show work is then exhibited at the Dalí Museum.

Each year, in conjunction with the Festival of States, the Suncoasters, and Pinellas County Schools, the Museum sponsors a Sidewalk Chalk Art Competition in North Straub Park in St. Petersburg.

The Museum frequently teams up with local artists and local recreation centers to offer summertime week-long "hands-on" art workshops for underprivileged children in St. Petersburg. The Summer of 2000 featured "Ornament and Adornment" and the Summer of 1999 featured "The African Cultural Experience."
