2008 Double Takes Video Entries
This year, Double Takes is a contest encouraging people to create a vision of who they think Salvador Dalí is – we want them to think, create, behave and/or look like Dalí.
The Look-Alike Contest is not celebrity impersonation: our contestants, both male and female, are encouraged to express and define how they or their work embodies the spirit of Dalí.
Contestants may enter by submitting one-minute videos within that theme, or by appearing in person to model their interpretive Dalí costume.
Our two-day event opens with an art party and screening of video entries in Ybor City on May 8, and concludes with an awards ceremony and celebration honoring Dalí’s birthday at the museum on May 9.
The museum is now seeking digital entries from across the globe. |
